The team at SC Zeus Data Centers are delighted to announce that we’ve secured a site in Seoul, South Korea and will begin development of an innovative hyper-scale data center. When completed the data center will support an IT load of 45MW. The total development cost of this project is expected to aggregate around half a billion US dollars.
The new data center has a gross floor space of 45,000 square meters and will utilize SC Zeus’s proprietary and patent pending advanced design technology that delivers the industry’s most efficient Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.2. SC Zeus is committed to building the most energy efficient data centers utilizing sustainable energy to reduce carbon footprint.
Joe Gooi, CEO stated, “We are investing in this project to service the growing demand for data center capacity on the back of a huge Internet market in South Korea, and we are already fielding expressions of interest from prospective tenants.”
South Korea is the first of many data centers that SC Zeus has in the works. SC Zeus are building a network of data centers across Asia Pacific with approximately 250 MW of total IT load.
